A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dmitri Ermolenko at the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics & Center for RNA Biology, School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Rochester. We use single-molecule microscopy and biochemical methods to study structural dynamics of the ribosome, translation factors and RNA helicases. Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. and expertise in molecular biology/biophysics with publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Applicants with experience in RNA biochemistry and/or single-molecule FRET are encouraged to apply.
