美国加州理工学院精密加工博士后职位
The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellowship in microfabrication. The successful candidate will work in Prof. Rustem Ismagilov’s group to develop mass-producible and user-friendly microfluidic devices that can be used to count molecules in limited-resource settings. These devices should revolutionize in vitro diagnostics for global health and enable breakthroughs in studies of single molecules.
Applicants must have a Ph.D., preferably in mechanical engineering or a related field. Experience and knowledge in thermoforming, hot embossing, and CNC machining are required. Experience in microfluidics, 3D printing processes, simulation of molding processes, or injection molding is preferred. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. While the start date for the position is flexible, there is a strong preference for early appointments. |
