美国南加利福尼亚大学云计算和大数据信息学博士后职位
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position on Cloud Computing and Big Data Informatics is open for appointment at the Electrical Engineering Department (Computer Engineering), University of Southern California, Los Angeles. The postdoc will lead a team of graduate students in performing independent research on scalable algorithms, programming platforms and software architectures for Cloud and emerging computing systems, with application to Big Data problems such as graph analytics, information integration, machine learning, and cyber-physical systems. The position will offer management responsibilities for existing projects, as well as opportunities to write innovative research proposals to funding agencies such as NSF, DARPA and DOE. This position will provide excellent preparatory skills for candidates interested in in advancing to a faculty or industrial research career.
We invite candidates with a research background in the areas of large-scale and open-source software systems, Big Data management, application acceleration, and distributed systems. Experience in working on inter-disciplinary and team projects is a plus. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in a relevant field at the time of appointment. In addition to technical skills, applicants must also have demonstrated written and oral communication skills (publications, presentations, talks, etc.). |
