A three-year postdoc position within the field of biomolecular nanoscale engineering is available at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) at Aarhus University from 1 February 2013 or shortly thereafter.
Research area and project description The position is embedded in the newly established VKR Center for Biomolecular Nanoscale Engineering (BioNEC) funded by the VILLUM Foundation and also involves research groups from University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and University of Copenhagen (KU). The project is highly multidisciplinary, involving diverse aspects of chemistry, biotechnology and molecular biology.
Qualifications and specific competences We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled person with a background in molecular biology and/or biochemistry. Experience with nucleic acid and peptide chemistry will be preferred.
Place of Employment and Place of WorkThe Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) ( www.inano.au.dk) is a major research and education center based at Aarhus University.
