德国歌德大学蛋白质聚合研究组博士后职位
The Protein Aggregation Group of Dr. Martin Vabulas at the Goethe University in Franfurt am Main invites
two full-time post-doctoral researchers
to join the project „Metastability of proteins during tumor metastasis“. The positions are available from March 1st, 2013 and are limited for two years with a possible extension. The project is funded by the European Research Council (ERC) and is going to exploit biochemical and genomic approaches in murine models to address the role of the molecular chaperones in tumorigenesis. The project includes systematic modification of bacterial artificial chromosomes to create a pannel of metastatic cell lines with regulatable amounts of the molecular chaperones. Subsequently, these cell lines will be expanded in vivo and analysed ex vivo by mass spectrometry and next-generation sequencing. The goal is to identifiy substrate-chaperone pairs which are required for tumor metastasis.
The group is part of the Buchmann Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (www.bmls.de) and the Cluster of Excellence „Macromolecular Complexes“ (www.cef-mc.de) which strongly support interdisciplinary research and the development of cutting-edge technologies.
The applicants should be interested in biochemical and genomic analyses of animal tumor models; the respective expertise is essential for application. Training certificates considering animal experiments must be provided with other documents including three letters of recommendation. For all questions please contact Dr. Martin Vabulas (vabulas@em.uni-frankfurt.de, Phone: 069-79842568). Please submit all your documents as one pdf-file. |
