请打开以上链接查看招聘信息,基本内容如下: Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Video Communications) Computational Engineering and Science Research Centre (Toowoomba) The opportunity The Wireless Video Communications Research Group within the Computational Engineering and Science Research Centre (CERSC) is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for a Smart Futures Fellowship project funded by the Queensland Government through the Smart State initiatives. The project seeks to develop conceptually innovative techniques and solutions for autostereosopic 3-D video display, coding and transmission with application to remote diagnostics. You will be providing with the opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary international research team consisting of both national and internationally renowned experts in 3-D video communications. You will also be provided with ample opportunities to work with our industry partners, among which are the Australia’s largest residential care provider and an Europe-based high-tech company specialling in cutting-edge autostereoscopic 3-D display technology. The team The Computational Engineering and Science Research Centre (CESRC) is a multi-disciplinary group and has an international reputation for excellence in the development of novel computational methodologies for the solution of key problems in engineering and sciences. The Wireless Video Communications Research Group within the Centre specialises in wireless Video Communications and networking with a focus on 3-D image and video display, processing, coding and error-resilient transmission through the use of state-of-the-art video compression and channel coding techniques. The location USQ’s Toowoomba campus is located on the beautiful Darling Downs in Queensland, one of Australia’s largest inland cities, situated just an hour and a half west of the state’s capital Brisbane. With 75.6 hectares of landscaped grounds, USQ is a ten minute drive from the centre of Toowoomba.
