英国布里斯托大学关节炎研究博士后职位
We are looking for someone with experience in new ELISA assay development and validation to work as a postdoctoral research associate for 3 years on an Arthritis Research UK funded project. The person appointed will be responsible for development of two novel biomarker assays for osteoarthritis, and carry our validation of these assays using serum samples already collected from patients and controls. The project is in collaboration with the National Institute of Health in USA, and serum samples and patients’ clinical data will be obtained from the NIH osteoarthritis biomarker initiative. Our laboratory is in the Faculty of Medical & Veterinary Sciences at the University of Bristol and you will work as part of a team involved in application of biomarkers to explore the mechanisms of development and progression of knee osteoarthritis.
Applicants must have expertise in ELISA assay development, handling clinical and imaging data (x-ray and MRI) from large numbers of patients and able to apply appropriate statistical tests to analyse the data. |
