We seek a full-time Research Coordinator to assist in managing scientific and administrative aspects of Dr. Glenn Telling抯 laboratory in the Prion Research Center at Colorado State University. The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-reliant person with a PhD or MS degree and relevant research experience, preferably in the areas of neurodegenerative or infectious diseases. A strong, independent work ethic, the ability to supervise and liaise with members of the research group, and well developed oral and written communication skills are absolute requirements. In addition to performing research, duties will include: assisting with conduct of research, laboratory logistics, and training of personnel; assisting with generation of research proposals, reports, and financial documents; and supervising purchasing of research material and supplies.
