job description A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in Host/Pathogen Interaction, Infection/Inflammation Biology in a dynamic, international laboratory in the Conway Institute, University College Dublin.
Our research covers different facets of infection, inflammatory injury and innate immune response. The particular focus of this position is on TLR/NLR regulatory networks governed by GTPase-protein kinase signaling, and their role in phagocytosis, innate immune signaling and pathogenesis. Recently established, novel knockout mouse models will provide the basis for the project.
We are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow with a background in animal models and phagocyte biology. Expertise in advanced microscopy and signaling network analysis is highly desirable. Applicants should have 1-2 publications as first author. The position is open immediately for candidates with maximal one year of postdoctoral experience. Self-motivated, energetic and team-oriented individuals with relevant expertise and strong communication skills should submit their CVs, statement of interest and three references to Ulla.Knaus@ucd.ie
