A postdoctoral position is available in the Section of Neurosurgery at the University of Chicago.
Projects will include: 1.The physiological characterization of brain tumors and epileptic foci in order to modify drug delivery including convection-enhanced delivery. 2. Correlation of single cell recordings with metabolic imaging and receptor kinetics in movement disorders. 3. The effects of stereotactic radiosurgery on capillary physiology in normal brain and brain tumors.
Methods used will include CT- and MR-compartment analysis, arterial spin labeling and PET/SPECT.
