北京工业大学面向海内外公开招聘交通学院院长
北京工业大学创建于1960年，是一所以工为主，理、工、经、管、文、法、艺相结合的多科性市属重点大学，1996年进入“211工程”的大学行列。现有24个教学院所，18个一级学科博士学位授权点，31个一级学科硕士学位授权点，17个博士后科研流动站，47个本科专业。
北京工业大学交通工程学科创建于1979年，现有交通运输规划与管理工程北京市重点学科，交通运输工程一级学科博、硕士学位授权点和博士后流动站，一个交通工程本科专业，研究方向包括智能交通、交通安全、交通规划、交通仿真和交通管理。
北京工业大学拟于近期整合交通工程学科，成立北京工业大学交通学院，现面向海内外诚聘交通学院院长一名（正处级职位）。
任职资格与条件
1.年龄不超过50周岁，对于特别优秀者可适当放宽。
2.应具有国内“211工程”大学或国外知名大学相关学科博士学位和正高级专业技术职务，在交通工程领域具有较高的学术水平和较深的学术造诣，为本专业领域学科带头人。
3.熟悉高等教育规律和教学、科研工作，具备担任院长所需要的组织领导能力、沟通协调能力和对外交往能力，有比较丰富的高等教育管理经验，一般应有在本科高校担任中层以上领导职务的任职经历。
4.两院院士、长江学者特聘教授、国家杰出青年基金获得者、国家级“千人计划”入选者及其他海内外杰出学者优先考虑。
5.身心健康。

Overseas Recruitment for Dean of College of Transportation Engineering of BJUT Job description: The position of Dean of College of Transportation Engineering is offered by Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) to talents from both domestic and abroad.
Brief Introduction to BJUT:
Beijing University of Technology, founded in 1960, is a multi-disciplinary key university in Beijing. With engineering disciplines being its focal point, the university combines science, engineering, economics, management, liberal arts, law, and art. Since 1996, the university has been included in the list of universities and colleges which have been entitled “211 Project” Universities. At present, Beijing University of Technology boasts 24 colleges and research institutes, 18 first-level disciplines with the authority to grant Doctoral Degrees, 31 first-level disciplines with the authority to award Master’s Degrees, 17 Post-Doctoral research stations, 47 major disciplines to offer Bachelor’s Degrees.
Brief Introduction to the college:
The discipline of transportation of Beijing University of Technology was established in 1979, and it now consists of key majors of Beijing municipal level: transportation planning and management engineering. It is a first-level discipline with the authority to grant Doctoral and Master’s Degrees, Post-Doctoral stations and the authority to award Bachelor’s degrees. Transportation engineering consists of 5 different research areas: intelligent transportation, transportation security, transportation planning, transportation simulation and transportation management.
Currently, the university intends to integrate the transportation engineering disciplines and set up the College of Transportation Engineering of Beijing University of Technology. Consequently, it offers a vacant position for the Dean of the new college. Talents from both home and abroad are welcome.
Qualifications and requirements:
1. Age: below 50 (including 50). There are exceptions to those who are especially prominent.
2. Candidates are supposed to have graduated from one of the “211 Project” university or well-renowned overseas universities, have acquired a Doctoral Degree in transportation related majors and have been granted the title of Professor. Required to be academically eminent in the field of Transportation Engineering with advanced academic knowledge and research abilities, and deemed to be able to take the lead in this domain.
3. Applicants should be very familiar with higher education system and be acquainted with teaching and research work. With the competence to undertake the position of the Dean of the College: the leadership ability, communicative and collaborative skills, and the capability of dealing with both internal and external affairs. Be abundantly experienced in higher education management, ideally having held similar positions in a similar college or university for some time.
4. Prior consideration will be given to those who are academicians, or winners of China Cheung Kong Scholars or China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists or China Global Expert Recruitment program or other distinguished scholars from both at home and abroad.
5. Applicants should be physically and psychologically healthy.
